Hello everyone, We just wanted to clear up how our apparel fundraiser works, and let you know that you can still get apparel if you want it. The way the campaigns work is that they run for 15 days each, and apparel doesn’t get printed until the campaign closes. This helps keep costs of production down by batching all the work possible into a single printing. Lower costs of production mean that more funds from each purchase go toward our adoption....
Hello everyone! Today is the last day to participate in the first round of our apparel fundraiser for our adoption. If you want to participate beyond today, you will still have that option with other rounds. However, making purchases during the first round will ensure a much faster delivery time for your order. Hello! It’s been quite the last couple of months for us. We are going to catch you up quickly and then share a few pieces of fun news. May and June were both very busy months for each of us at work, and therefore it has been hard to find time to work on our required adoption education. However, we just started that time together again in these last few days, reading through our books and working through those requirements....
This week we got an email stating that our home study is being pushed back to sometime this summer. As you can imagine, we are a bit disappointed by this news. Originally, our home study was estimated to happen in April, with a potential for it being slightly sooner or slightly later. When we got this week’s email, we were surprised to see it delayed so far out. This will put us at about 9-10 months, rather than the originally estimated 6 months....
Hey all, We were emailed by New Life (our adoption agency) a few weeks ago and they let us know that we are fourth in line in our wait for a home study. This means that our home study will most likely begin in April of 2024. This was what we expected from the start, so we are thankful! As with all points in the adoption timeline, this is a loose estimate....
